Nurragingy Miniature Railway

Established in 2014, North Western Model Engineers Inc. (NWME) is an incorporated not for profit model engineering club based in the north western suburbs of Sydney, Australia.



Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, Nurragingy Minature Railway will be open for rides in a limited capacity.    To be able to meet our Covid-19 Safety Plan all ride tickets will be Pre-Sold Only and will have an allocated time slot. As we are required to provide the ability for you to maintain a 1.5mt social distance (unless you are from the same household) we have restructured our ticket and ride process.

Under this process tickets will be $18.00 per group.
Each Ticket will allow for up to 6 members of the same household to ride together on the same miniature train.
The ride will be approximately 10 minutes in duration (including loading and unloading from the train)
(This works out to be almost 2 rides under our normal process)

To allow for as many of our fans as possible to have a ride, Please only buy one ticket per household.

Terms and Conditions
  • All train passengers MUST wear fully enclosed footwear
  • There is no minimum or maximum age to ride the trains, but all passenger must be wearing enclosed shoes and be able to sit on the seat facing forwards (No babes in carriers or arms)
  • Children under 3 years of age must be accompanied by a person 18 years or older.
  • Tickets are available via Online Pre-sales only.
  • One Ticket covers up to 6 members of the same household to ride together on the same train at the same time.
  • Ticket Holders MUST arrive and report to the Ticket Tent at least 10 minutes before their allocated time (No more than 30 minutes)
  • To avoid breach of the NWME's Covid-19 Safety Plan, Ticket Holders who arrive more than 30 minutes before their allocated time, will be asked to leave and return when it is their allocated time.
  • Late arrival risk forfiting their rides
  • A Full Refund is available for cancellations made up to 5pm the day before the running day, if after 5pm the day before please contact us on as soon as possible to discuss options for your booking
  • If the event is cancelled (completly or partically), a Full Refund will be available for all bookings that are unable to ride due to the cancellation.
  • Your contact information will ONLY be used for the sole purpose for contact tracing purposes during COVID-19 period of 2020.
  • We will hold your contact information for no less nor no more then 28 days from your ticket date of purchase
  • Merchandise may be available for sale on the day. Contactless Card payments only. (No Cash Accepted)
  • Ensure all member of your group take all effort to 'Avoid the Spread Covid-19'

Avoiding the Spread of Covid-19
  • If you or any member of your family is feeling unwell, have cold or flu symptoms or if you have been asked to self-isolate, do not attend the Nurragingy Miniature Railway.
  • Practise good hand hygiene
  • We recommend the use of a Face Mask while on our site
  • Take extra care if you're around vulnerable people
  • Where possible maintain social distancing of 1.5mt.
  • Adhere to the NSW Government rules regarding gatherings size. (Maximum of 20 persons per group)
  • We highly recommend the use of the Australian COVID Safe APP.
